AHN takes a global approach to holistic healing.

By drawing on Traditional Chinese Medicine, Taoist tonic herbalism, Ayurveda, Blue Zone diets, and modern nutritional breakthroughs, the Academy provides an in-depth and flexible approach focused on an individual’s constitutional and health needs. We aim to get you in touch with your own healing ability, intuition and wisdom through a combination of both theory and practical courses.

The Academy was established by holistic health visionary Roger Green over 40 years ago.  Inspired by her own health transformation as a student at AHN NY, Patricia Lopez partnered with Roger Green and established the UK branch in 2017 – and in 2019, she took on the lead of the school globally, bringing AHN worldwide.

Through engaging lectures, cook-alongs, and practical bodywork classes, we create a fun, hands-on forum for experiencing the healing effects of the Longevity Diet principles across several platforms: sensorial, emotional, intellectual, and social.

Life is a transformative process—

a process of cultivation, experience and refinement. When we learn new ideas with practical applications, they gradually replace the negative patterns that previously led to illness and separation from the flow of life.

Academy Healing Nutrition now has its HQ in London & NY but offers its dynamic online training to students globally

Honoring Ancient Wisdom & Modern Application

At AHN, we bow in deep gratitude to the wisdom keepers and healing traditions that form the foundation of our teachings. Our approach integrates time-tested knowledge from Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and ancestral healing practices from cultures of longevity worldwide.

Our diverse, intergenerational faculty includes both cultural practitioners sharing their ancestral traditions and dedicated students who have spent decades studying under master teachers. We recognize our responsibility to respectfully translate these ancient principles for modern application while honoring their origins and original context.

We actively support Asian-owned herb shops, practitioners, teachers and wellness businesses through our network and events. We acknowledge that our current faculty, while diverse in many ways, has gaps in representation, particularly of Asian teachers and practitioners whose ancestral traditions form the cornerstone of our teachings. Our faculty evolved organically through decades of collaboration and shared dedication to this work, growing from our founder Roger Green's lifelong journey and the deep relationships he formed along the way. While we cherish these long-standing partnerships and the wisdom they bring, we also recognize our gaps in representation. Our ongoing commitment is to continue learning, to center the voices of traditional wisdom keepers, and to create positive impact in the communities whose healing traditions we study and share.
