"Food isn't fuel. It's information — a relationship between the body, the season, and the world around it."
— Roger Green, founder of Academy Healing Nutrition
Underlying the world's longevity cultures — like TCM, Ayurveda, and ancestral medicine traditions — exists a profound truth: food is medicine.
Bringing this into modern, fast-paced life doesn't mean adding one more thing to manage. It means returning — to something our great-grandmother's generation understood instinctively, and modern life quietly forgets: elemental, seasonal medicine that has nourished cultures around the world for generations.
For over 40 years, Academy Healing Nutrition has trained practitioners not around the latest trend — Mediterranean, plant-based, Blue Zones, protein-forward, whatever comes next — but around time-honored principles of bioindividuality, seasonality, and non-dogmatic practicality.
Grounded, sound, and globally inclusive.

In this free lecture, you'll learn:
Food energetics — how TCM reads the thermal nature and direction of food, not just its nutrients
Five element theory and yin/yang — a practical way of reading what your own body is asking for, season by season
Our Longevity Diet — beyond Blue Zones, this maps your own constitution, season, and body type onto principles drawn from TCM, Ayurveda, and Taoist philosophy — so the diet is built around you, not a place you don't live
The traditional food preparation wisdom your grandmother's generation knew intuitively
For those called to go deeper, we'll also share how to apply for early access to AHN's 2027 certification cohort — accepted in small numbers each year.
ABOUT YOUR TEACHER
Roger Green founded Academy Healing Nutrition in 1986 and has spent four decades at the intersection of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurvedic philosophy, ancestral nutrition, and longevity science — long before most of those words entered the mainstream. A TCM practitioner and registered nurse trained in shiatsu, he's taught in over 70 countries and worked for decades on water harvesting and soil regeneration projects alongside his clinical practice. His approach is built on a simple premise: food isn't fuel, it's information — a relationship between the body, the season, and the world around it.
Special guest: Letha Hadady, schedule permitting. Letha holds a doctorate in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, with special studies at the Shanghai College of Chinese Medicine and private training with Dr. Vasant Lad in Ayurveda and Dr. Yeshe Dhonden — personal physician to the Dalai Lama — in Tibetan medicine. She's the author of six books, including Asian Health Secrets and faculty at Academy Healing Nutrition.
Academy Healing Nutrition has trained nearly 1,000 certified graduates across six continents since 1986 — the only certification program at the intersection of TCM, Ayurveda, and the world's longevity cultures, moving between theory and hands-on cooking practice, with training in building a financially sustainable holistic practice built in from the start.
